We’ve seen the brand story of milk come alive several times this year, but what of its powdered/bastard cousin? I’m disappointed in SanLu. Instead of developing a story around the unique qualities powdered milk offers over its liquidy cousin (portability, much longer shelf life), the company decided to tout how much of the stuff it has sold: Enough to cover the Sahara desert.
