Post-Advertising Named One of the Top Content Marketing Blogs

Story AwardedThe content wizards at Junta42 have made their 2011 selections for their Top 42 Content Marketing List, and we’re proud to announce that Post Advertising has joined the ranks. Alongside highly touted blogs such as Jay Baer’s Convince and Convert, which nabbed the top spot, Jason Falls’ Social Media Examiner, and David Meerman Scott’s WebInkNow, Post Advertising came in at #11.

The Junta42 Top 42 Content Marketing Blogs list highlights the best bloggers on the web discussing content marketing. Each blog on the list was rated by the Junta42 staff in terms of content strength, depth, regularity and, to a very small extent, popularity. The current list in its entirety actually contains over 400 blogs, with the top 42 being considered award winners.

Joe Pulizzi, founder of Junta42 and Content Marketing Institute, noted that since the list appeared in late 2007, the content marketing landscape has changed significantly. Said Pulizzi, “[In 2007] most marketing professionals didn’t know what content marketing was or how to use it. Marketers didn’t understand the impact that content marketing would make on the practice of marketing.”

Now content is now at the forefront of marketing — at least of effective marketing, as we believe. We are humbled by the award, of course, and we even considered not writing about it because tooting your own horn about awards isn’t very “Post-Advertising.” We hemmed and hawed, but ultimately went for it because we believe it goes to show that great content really does win.
