It's an Australian promotion, and probably old news by now, but it brings out the creative monkey in me: In What Happens Next?, you're the director of the next Virgin Mobile commercial. Chalk it out, big fella. My advice: Gorilla playing the drums. Solid gold.
Using the tools provided (basically a pencil to draw with and a typing tool), Virigin Mobile asks Aussies to finish one of three commercials. The audience is encouraged to think big and wacky. If the audience participates in producing an interruptive, persuasive 30-second spot, does that turn the experience—even if it comes in the middle of your favorite show—into more of a narrative?
