Dawn's Fancy Hands
Dawn's Fancy Hands

Who has the most talented hands? Is it Jimi Hendrix, who could make magic with a guitar? Or Bill Evans, the great jazz pianist of the '60s and '70s? Or maybe your tenth-grade boyfriend? No, no, and…ew. It's gotta be these:

As it turns out, the votes are in for this pair:

Dawn Hand Talent is a competition for Dawn Plus Hand Renewal, the dish soap that claims to improve your hands' look and feel. And while dish soap isn't the sexiest thing in your kitchen, Dawn's attempting to spice up the category a little bit.

I know a sarcastic 23-year-old isn't exactly Dawn's target audience. So to all you moms in the house, this is for you. The website is updated weekly with new videos—a pretty low-key way to make users return to the site and keep them engaged. There's also a game to "impress Armando," the purple sponge who guides you through the site in his French (?) accent. Online games have been proven very popular with the ladies. Even more popular? The dollar-off coupon offer.

Is the content super fab? Well, this girl finds it pretty mediocre. But Dawn is keeping up with the post-advertising age by utilizing digital media and engaging its audience through interactive contests, games, and deals. That, at least, deserves a hand.
